Legislative Affairs Commission
Job Description: The Legislative Affairs Commission is a vital part of the CUSG Executive branch, aiding the Director of Legislative Affairs as a volunteer member of the commission in sorting through bills and city ordinances for things that impact students and deciding things that should be spent advocating for or against. Along with this research, you will be directly involved in advocating for students at both the CUSG and state government level. Meetings will be held either weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the varying work load but it is expected that members of the commission stay up to date on current and upcoming legislation concerning the student body.
