Legislative affairs chair
The Legislative Affairs Chair serves as the main advocate and representative for CUSG in all external legislative affairs, acts as CU Student Government’s chief informant of current events regarding legislative matters at the local and state level, and helps to lobby for and author legislation pertinent to CUSG and the University of Colorado. This position is one which requires political acumen and experience, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, charisma, and strong leadership ability. The Legislative Affairs Chair must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and possess first-rate interpersonal skills; the success of Student Government relies on your leadership, willingness to work with others and above all, a passion for improving CU.
