The University of Colorado Student Government is looking for a detail-oriented student to fulfill the role of Secretary on the Legislative Branch. This amazing opportunity provides you with the chance to learn about Student Government and offers you a platform to make an impact for the student body.
The secretary is a vital position in the Legislative Branch. Your primary responsibility would be recording what is said during our weekly meetings. This means you will be recording what everyone says and keeping a record of it as the official minutes. This is a paid, hourly position and requires that you have the ability to attend weekly Thursday meetings at 7:00 PM. Hours per week will vary — most meetings last less than 2 hours, but a few will be quite long, up to 4-6 hours. You may also work a few hours outside of the meeting if necessary to complete the minutes.
The position is classified as a Student Assistant I and the pay rate is $12.50/hour. This is a great opportunity and we encourage you to apply
