My name is Faith Atkins, I am a junior at CU studying economics, sociology, and pursuing a certificate in social innovation, and I hope to be elected as one of your Representatives at Large in CU Student Government (CUSG)!

Four years ago I made the best choice of my life in choosing to attend CU Boulder. It was during spring break of my junior year that I had skied in a charity event benefiting the U.S Paralympic team, and decided that before I go to the airport to go home to San Francisco that I should tour CU. I immediately fell in love with how beautiful campus was, and today I can say I’ve fallen in love with the people I’ve met during my time here.

I want to do my part in making CU Boulder inclusive and accessible for all students, and I want to help students realize their potential while studying here. As your Representative at Large I promise I will do my very best to fulfill those goals by providing students with the tools and resources needed for success, and I will use my voice to instill positive change on this campus for all students: undergraduate and graduate.

I am currently serving on two joint boards of CUSG: the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) Board and the University Memorial Center (UMC) Board, and have served in various other student organizations including Alpha Phi Omega- Gamma Theta Chapter, a coed community service fraternity on campus where I served as Public Relations Chair and Rush Cochairman, and Phi Mu Fraternity, a new panhellenic sorority where I serve as Assistant Membership Director. My experience in leadership positions in CUSG and different organizations on campus, I believe, gives me the expertise needed for leadership and perspective of being a student affiliated with student organizations.

I cannot wait to serve this campus, and if you or any organizations have changes they’d like to see, please email me at
