State Legislative affairs chair
The State Affairs Chair serves as CUSG’s representative for State-level legislative matters, works closely with CU lobbyists at the Colorado State Capital on a regular basis, and is responsible for maintaining CUSG presence in legislative matters at the state level. This positions works closely with the Director of Legislative Affairs to promote CUSG involvement in state legislation pertinent to CU students, and political affairs in general. An effective Local Affairs possesses political acumen and experience, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, charisma, and strong leadership ability.
